Dunno, but I'd think they would be in a world of hurt if they didn't, considering they are releasing a new Mechwarrior game in that time frame. Kinda suck to not be able to sell it...

Yes I agree .. the license doesn't run out until mid-2018. However, you will note that they negotiated the last license extension in December 2013 ... 18 months before the previous expiry in mid-2015. The new license was extended to mid-2018 ... however, if they are following the same 18 month game plan then now is the time when they will be negotiating further license extensions.

Because the evidence of them releasing features before is evident to almost everyone except a few people.............
