Does anyone have (or has anyone had) Virgin Mobile broadband internet service? It is a service via Sprint.

Our internet connection speed ranks in at 0.54mbps on speedtest.net. Our current service is with HughesNet, but our connection apparently is not fast enough to play online games (there is about a three-second lag on everything from MineCraft to Halo). If we cannot resolve this issue, we may not be play MWO.

I have been researching VM and Sprint; and from what I've found, I am about 85% sure it will work in our area. The plans are cheaper, and provide up to unlimited 3G broadband. However, before I invest in it, I want to be at least 90%-95% sure.

Is there anyone on MWO who has used, or is using Virgin Mobile for their internet service? Please use this link to see your coverage (and remember to select "Data coverage"): http://www.virginmob...-phone-coverage. It shows us with good coverage; but we have had chronic signal loss in our area with Verizon and Alltel, so I want to be more sure of it's reliability.

Is it a steady signal? I know our current internet service tends to kick out on us sometimes.

Also, I'm not very good with understanding the different speeds. Most everyone seems to list their internet speed in kilobytes/second, but my speed (under network status) is listed as 65.0 megabytes/second (this is not fast enough to play online - I know, I've tried). What is the difference? Are you able to play online games, reliably?

Thanks,
