Blastoleen Special - MAL-1R(C)

Unlike some standard engine builds, mine doesn't put the ammo in the side torsos without C.A.S.E. protection as if you lose your leg, head, or CT from ammo explosion your day is pretty much done anyway. I used the "cleaver" above as the starting point...switched to my preferred LB-10Xs, and dropped a ton of SRM ammo, and added two DHS in the side torsos and an AMS w/0.5 tons of ammo. Also switched three SRM4s for a pair of SRM6s...reason being its the same tonnage/# launch tubes, but slightly more heat efficient. Also in terms of cooldown vs missiles fired, SRM6s are the best also.

Here's my suggestion for a MAL-2P(C) build.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a8fa6a2ea1cd9a0

Again, a long range support mech.
2 LLas, 3 SLas, Tag and BAP, and 2 LRM15 with 8 tons of ammo, XL325 Engine with 3 DHS. 2 MGs and AMS.

The 1-P could be done similarly but swapping SLas for MGs and retaining the LLas.

This is the one I've been using, it's pretty decent for damage: but very much a brawler:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...45e5e2d88e2ad6e

MAL-1R
2 LB10X with 4 tons ammo
4 SRM4's with 4 tons ammo
2 Med lasers
STD300 engine
14 DHS

MX-90 http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b75d8411bcf8133

2x LB10, 1x PPC, 1x SL, 3x MG, 1x SRM4. 320 STD.
hits 61.8 kph with spd twk, and has 1.4 cooling. assymetrical for a shield side.
not the highest firepower, but fast and durable and cool.

Notes:

This build is more heat efficient than it looks. I gave my friend this build, and he enjoys playing with it. Very fun, high damage output build for maximum fun and destruction.

More Notes:

Upgrades include DHS and Ferro-Fiberous. This battlemech comes equipped with 15 double heatsinks.

Why is the back armor on this mech so high? Brawlers need armor up front, not back. If you are playing wisely, your teamates will have your back, and you need to keep pushing forward. Anyways, just a suggestion, lower that back armor to 8 or 10.

My MAL-MX90 configuration

I refer to it as M-35. Yeah... Another Quad UAC5 configuration. But unlike the others, this one has AMS. XD

The arms mostly act as extra armor, as they cover most of the 'mech when you torso twist. The AMS is there to offer some protection against the LRMs.
