I liked the current pack formats. Hoping that I like the new ones as much.

Very excited for new weapons. That was my #1 ask.

Honestly was disappointed.

So much was veiled in non-specifics, that I might as well have gotten an basic outline of a long essay, instead of much else.

We have next to no shot that the new incoming stuff will be remotely balanced when introduced.

All I want for Xmas 2017 are MRMs (Medium Range Missiles) and LFEs (Light Fusion Engines.)

New IS heroes would be nice.. but IDK if we'll really need heroes with the skill tree reset handing us back hundreds of millions of Cbills. I think this game needs a Cbill sink other than leveling mechs up with the new skill tree and consumable items.. something positive to do with hoarded Cbills instead of something negative and penalizing like R&R.

I'm starting to wonder how many times that new "Assault", now "Incursion" was delayed. It's like vaporware at this rate. Then there's IK.

I guess we'll figure out what's the new OP meta weapon/equipment in 2+ months.

IK really did disappoint me. Still no ETA on it? Wasn't it supposed to come out last year? But still, any new tech at all is hyping me up. And I try to avoid hype at all costs.

Yeah, agreed on this. The Skill Tree shouldn't even be a factor, because getting more usable base values for equipment is not impacted by the Skill Tree and they have to rework the quirks anyway.

This could mean that it will get a +3 modifier to its Dartboard of Balance™ rolls.


The road map says that it's two mechs per faction though, so it's entirely possible that we get both the Mad Kitty 2 and the Blood Asp.
