I'm thinking I'm in the vast minority, but I've at best tolerated every map revamp to date, most i've found a i flat out dislike. The twilight/Dusk color leaves me squinting to see things. The night time is just as bad so you have to switch to night vision and then its just Gen 1 night vision. I really wish they'd leave the maps alone and just create new ones.

edited to remove Hate and replace with dislike.

Vision restrictions apply to you and your enemy. If playing at night on a map is that much of a problem for you, perhaps a BattleTech FPS sim style game isn't the game for you...

Well he didn't say it was a advantage for the enemy, he just doesn't like it. Personally I wouldn't mind if they removed night maps but I also don't care if they don't, but I wish it just picked a time and stayed there, not a fan of the 6 hours in 15 minutes change (really fast spinning planet I guess).

Yes, this so-called "feature" is really ridiculous. It's one of those "we can do it so we will" moments that makes me want to skin a cat while still alive. Posted Image

River City at night is the worst. Can't see anything due to my eyesight, and the mechs blend in with the buildings well.

I have always said it's a shame to have such beautifully detailed maps and then (at least in my case) be forced to use night or heat vision to be able to fight on the maps.(dont really get to enjoy the map)

Some random weather on them would be fine, fog, heavy rain, snow etc.

the fade from day to night or night to day really messes with me, but a solid day or night is fine.

Dont know how hard it is to 'fix' it so that it stays daytime and another stays night time. That nets you double the amount of maps that have this feature. More maps are always good.

would love some of the older maps brought back as well and naturally I am an 8 v 8 fan.

Just my thoughts
