I use Skunkwerks. It's a downloadable mech builder that has most (If not all) of the canon mechs available for download, which you can then mess with and print out.

Development died a while ago, though. Does what I need it to do, so I don't mind.

I'm sure someone here has an internet based one, though.

Ever wonder what it takes to put 10 AC/2s in a Battlemech?

I did it with armor and ammo. 10.5 standard. 100 tons. 10 AC/2s.

Also, did you realize that a 75 ton mech can carry 2 PPCs, 22 Small Lasers, and enough heat sinks to stay cool?

These are the kinds of things I do, while everyone else is crafting Gauss Walls.

EDIT: I also try to justify this stuff with lore. That's kind of the tough, and fun, bit.

Don't take this the wrong way, but having two ballistic arms like that, two large ones too -- they deviate on the Urbanmech's charms, it's just so god ******* damn cute with a single massive cannon (though not that sustainable). So i just don't like it that way. It's not bad, i just don't like it.
