My builds for this mech so far:
HUNCHNECK Haven't tried this one yet, but I intend for it to feel like the double UAC5 build I ran on Grid Iron a while back
RGH-1B - ROUGHDRAW Used this one once, seemed pretty fun. Felt like what the Quickdraw hero was intended to be
RGH-1C - ANTI-META SANDBLASTER Originally had an AC20 and LRM10 instead, but after getting sick of the AC20 I thought "Eh, why the hell not?" Everything that it shoots spreads everywhere but it was still funny to use

EDIT: It took me long enough, but I've only just realised that my build for the -1A and -1B are practically identical

Running exactly the same build as you on the 1A - really like it.
On the 1B I've had a surprising amount of success with an XL 275, 3 x AC2, 3 x LRM5 and an MPL in the head. Keep a mid range (not long) and use the LRMs to safely put fire down and get some cockpit shake going before you can get the arm mounted AC2s into the fray. Then, if you start taking too much incoming, back off behind cover keeping the LRMs going with the odd head poke from the MPL. It's surprisingly effective even though each weapon on their own looks a bit uninspiring.
As for the 1C, I went with a more single minded approach - LB10X AC and 3 x SRM4. With the stock standard engine it's a good brawler if you remember to protect your Shadowhawk shoulder.

Took me a while to get to grips with this mech but enjoying it a lot now.

I'm using this build for my 3A and it's easily my favorite mech in the game: RGH-3A "Mr. Beam"

43 Alpha damage at 300 meters with no ghost heat. Good heat management considering the number of energy weapons (HEAT MGMT 1.29). 300 LFE gives it very nice speed (78 km/h with 4.5% speed tweaks) and the armor is almost maxed (95 CT and 66 ST with 11.9% armor tweaks).

It has decent medium range firepower with the two high mounted LLas and the ER MLas and very good pinpoint firepower at closer ranges using the 4 MLas with the large lasers (left and right side weapon groups).

I really like the Roughneck. The high weapon mounts are almost distastefully good and with some movement and torso twisting it's insanely durable. In tier 4 and 3 quick play I have survived many situations where my Atlas would have died in seconds. I have had a lot of great games with the Roughneck and a lot less awful games than with most of my other mechs.

I'm running my Reaver with dual UAC2, 4 ER Mlas and a LE 300. The -25% UAC jam chance with -15% ballistic cooldown make this thing feel so good. Get 4 laser duration and 2 enhanced RAC/UAC skill as long as any cooldown I can get on the way and this thing become an absolute killing machine. With almost full armor (minus one last point on the right) my CT has like 107 armor, that is tougher than stock 80 tons assault mech.

Why run such a build when it can hold 2xUAC10 and abuse that same jam chance? Your build can fit on a medium mech and is too hot.

Remember to max out weapon heat, jam chance, and heat dissipation in your skill maze.

If you find yourself running too hot or out of range for your medium lasers, drop them for some heatsinks. If you want to be more aggressive with your positioning and be less fragile, you can drop 3kmph and a ton of ammo for a Light285 instead.
