I feel like I have to share this with all of you. My Gf and I fight sometimes and it usually is because I'm playing MWO too much. Nevertheless I got a package yesterday. I opened the box up. And joy and excitement filled my soul.

I received The MechWarrior Dark Age books. The first 15. I believe there are 30 of them and some of them are harder to find than others. So I started reading Ghost War which is the first book in the MechWarrior Dark age series.

But wsit there was more.

Under those books were some.more. but these....These ones are really special. I pulled out 5 Battletech books. Of course I got decision at thunder rift. WHICH I will start after I finish all the MechWarrior books. I know battletech paperbacks are getting harder and harder to find as the years go on. Maybe not decision at thunder rift but the others I can't seem to find online.

My Gf Casandra came up to me and asked me if I liked them. I have never kissed and made out with someone so hard in my life.

I'm estatic. I can't wait to read all of these.

You can get most of them from Amazon for your Kindle. Or Kindle reader.

My girlfriend tells me "would you please go play some MWO, I like to watch when someone knows how to play, It's interesting to me".. This was after some amazing 1 on 1 "quality time" after which She made me a cake, both without asking, no special occasion.. She's a keeper <3

Lol yeah you can get all of them for Kindle but I wanted an actual paperback copy. A real book. Physical item. Thus why I'm so excited. Because these are actual books

Print them out at Staples or Kinkos. Problem solved. (They will even bind it for you for 4 dollars extra... I am guessing)

Kinkos? That sounds like a good idea if I downloaded the rest of the books through E Pub and then got them to bind it. I just like having an actual paperback.

Though you tend to want to be careful around the copyright stuff. I don't know the licensing on e-books but usually those stores are reluctant to print whole book of copyrighted stuff. Though with binding (and you can do a book bind too, not just the coil bind), they tend to just ignore the content.

So if you either print them out yourself and have them bind. Or check the copyright rule, and if possible, let them print and bind your document... save yourself a whole lot of hassle.

About the books, I know what you mean.
I started reading Battletech ~15 years ago and started to collect all the books from every source I could find to complete the series. You just can't compare e-books to the real thing. The texture and smell of old paper and ink, the sound of turning pages, the look of the books in the shelf...
