leg(Left Thigh) wasnt damaged at all until the Last Scene? all the missiles hit torso so how did that happen?
Most likely an oversight, but if you want to explain it away, just pretend that while the Mad Dog was still getting in position, the Firefly fired its lasers and hit the leg.

That's how gaming used to roll. 90's trailers were always the best.

As I said earlier, the intro was cut from a different video I can't find at the moment. The damage makes more sense in that video, and limbs don't magically fall off, reattach, then fall off again between cuts.

A Clan ER PPC does 15 damage. The Firefly has 14 points of CT armor, and a ton of Machine Gun ammo behind that. Ammo crit leads to Stackpoling.

The only Sphere light I have the remotest interest in, outside far-flung FutureTech options way outside the new timeline, is the Valkyrie. Which would be bad in MWO and I wouldn't buy a 3/5/H Valkyrie pack anyways so BLAH.
Because you Sphere guys totes needed more fasties yourselves, we weren't starved for ANY viable non-Cheetah light or anything...
I feel you on the Clan front. I was really looking forward to either the Firemoth/Piranha, but I'm not a loyalist either way so I'll make do and shell out for the IS light.

Now, to contribute to the completely off-topic MW3 trailer/intro cinematic critique.

You may also notice that the Thor's arm magically disappears between cuts.
I didn't find out until years later, but the MW3 intro was cut from what appears to be some sort of concept video. The Mobile Field Base operator voiced a mechwarrior, and the damage seen in the intro makes more sense.
Can't seem to find the video at the moment though.
The Thor's arm is blown off by the Fireflies. But its leg damage (as pointed out by Andi) does magically appear.
Was it this?

Similar intro, though only a few scenes were spliced into the "final" version (and one cut appears in the MW3 ending)

That reminds me, I rewatched that intro yesterday (I do it way more often than I'd care to admit), and I noticed for the first time that the Mad Dog's left arm was broken. It took me this many years to notice it.
I noticed that several years ago...while also rewatching on YouTube. I attributed it--as I'd always attributed the broken leg--to shrapnel damage from the exploding Mad Cat.
And by attributing I mean making allowances for poor continuity.

That scene always pissed me off a little. Those pilots were idiots. They should have fired and then gone in the other direction, not flown straight at him. They're fighting a Smoke Jaguar pilot, the only time he's good at killing something is when it's right in front of him.
They probably planned on using their momentum to sprint past and circle the Thor from the back, forgetting that when you land with JJ you momentarily lose all inertia
....in MWO

Observe carefully.
I know what destroyed it initially, but it does pop on and off.
EDIT: And yes, that may be the video I was thinking about.

It doesn't disappear, it gets destroyed by those two lights' missile volleys. It's hard to see since it's facing away from the 'camera', but that arm takes a direct hit from what looks like every missile they fired and goes boom.
As to the OP, there's a crap ton of IS lights that aren't in the game yet. It'd be cool if it were the Stinger or Wasp LAM but that's not happening. It should probably be in the 20 to 25 ton range since those two are the only ones that have a single option.
The normal Wasp and Stinger are certainly possibilities. In lore, they're both mentioned as being two of the most produced mechs ever made so it kinda makes sense to have them in the game.

Yeah I only paid attention to the first part, but you're right, the second part where the MDD fires its apparently TV guided missiles the arm makes an amazing comeback for a split second and then it's gone again.
