So its a conquest match. Went ok with a few good players on my team.

I was making original comments like "Survival of the chickenest" and "half the team still at EPI? Chicken or what."

As it turns out we manage to knock out the other team with next to no help from some. BUT they had the caps and it didn't look good as they ticked up for a win for the other team.

A pilot who shall remain anon, lets call him Gary, who was super frustrating to watch with his 2 LRM 15's and 2 medium lasers, full armor, on HPG manifold where the fighting was mostly under the dish.

Anyway, Gary decides he finally better do something so moves to cap. He does the right thing and flips one to neutral instead of capping it, then is running for the last enemy control point.

734 for the enemy and someone says in chat we lost. Gary flips the last control point as they 748 out of 750, for the win.

Just happened and was quite a match and everyone on the team was happy and all that. Someone said Gary for MVP even. Which was a real flip from previous comments.

*No this isn't about me in case anyone was wondering. I was down mid way through fighting under the dish.

I'm amazed your story didn't end with chickenshat members of your own team ratting out the lone survivor's position as he was in the process of winning the match.

Used to happen to me all the time when I was the lone light left in Conquest. Yet 1 more reason this game hasn't been installed on my HDD since the crash and re-image 2+ years ago.

Conquest sometimes provides the most interesting matches. Last Saturday I had a conquest match that actually ended in a tie. I didn't even know that was possible.
