Idea About Buffing "hands" Without Melee.

Hey there fellow Mechwarriors!

Idea might be crap, but that is why I post ideas here first to get input before I put them in suggestions.

Hand acculators could get the following buff:

10% faster capping rate (in conquest) per hand acculator for resource points.

---

What do you think about it? It isn't gamebreaking and its a small, small buff for those mechs who are cursed with hands.

pros: No annimantion needed; mechanic as modul already ingame; quirk ssystem already in the game;

I'd prefer if they just removed them from the crit sheets, if I'm honest. But if we gotta have'em, I suppose this is something.

An easy one would be to give all mechs with hands a hill climb boost, to simulate the help climbing would get from the use of hands.

It's a cool idea, in theory, but in practice we never use our mech's hands to climb. A more practical, and less immersion breaking idea might be to add additional arm structure or armor quirks. There's more to blow up, right? Posted Image

I use them to increase hitboxes if I'm using a shield arm. Maybe a durability bonus would be good?

simply allow the mech to lift and extend the arm ...........
the main problem with arms is that they are low no other buff are needed

I'd much rather have removable hand actuators for my IS mechs, so I can fit 3 DHS in an arm. IS DHS takes 3 slots, FFS.

In my dreams, knockdown gets reimplemented and those with hands (actuators) get up faster.

most?

i think the majority of clanners have hands, ADR, KFX; NVA, SCR, SMN, they all have so only TBR, WHK and DWF of wave one don't have them. doesn't looks much different for the others.

like an IS meme, Can reconfigure the entire mech from scratch, but taking off the hands is lostech.

The joke has to do with you removing those hand actuators because they are useless (not sure if they also extend the arm hitboxes).

Could add a "jazz hands" button and animation. They are useful outside of battle if there is rubble or an obstacle to move, so you wouldn't be whacking it with a gauss rifle barrel.
