Build #1 is the most sensible, also playing with the strengths of the MX90. After experimenting with a few different builds this is what i am using with my MAL-MX90 now and it's good enough for many situations.

Picking #1 here, no contest.
The other builds are good too but their engine size will cause headaches for players unfamiliar with proper positioning, and the short range of LBX in combination with the engine would further frustrate newbies.

1 or 3 would be great, but pay attention to the diversity in KDK and Mauler. Both have good ammo and firepower, 1 trades range for splat power. Both would be great, just choose based off of what you do for Kodiak (Don't have both UACs or LB10X, one of each
