That's a known jumpjet glitch that they've said they've fixed in patch notes several times already. \o/
It's a problem with the angle you hit a ledge using JJs. And with very little lift for JJs, hitting ledges at angles is hard to avoid..

yep. I encountered it the first time on river city in a shadowcat. I recorded it, but it's in potato quality for that one.

I've never had that happen before.
I have gotten stuck many places.. inside of walls, on top of rocks and in between pillars.. but I've never gotten spit backwards.

Ayep. I'm way too used to my poor Shadow Cat getting killed by its own JJ's launching me 50 meters higher into the air and falling down, ripping my legs off. If I don't have the bad luck for it to happen when enemies are watching, because then I just get shot out of the sky.

Have had this happen in my locusts plenty of times.
7%~ damage straight to the legs, fun.

Well, this problem would be nowhere near as severe if only we had Jump-jets that allowed us to clear these obstacles instead of the hovering fart-nozzles we have at the moment.

Can happen on any map, as far as I know. It's also great fun that you lose all that leg armour, regardless of whether or not you dampen the fall with jump jets. You can hit the ground at 1 m/s and it's still going to crush your legs.
A bug that has been in the game for.. at least 2 years? 3 years? More?

In the words of Quake 3...
"Denied".
Jumpjets are absolute joke in this game. I got stuck in an infinite loop on HPG trying go from the lower entrance to the upper platform. It showed me jumping up to the ledge AND beyond multiple times (I stopped pushing anything cause I was wondering what was happening). After I pressed something I ended up in the air coming down way over my jump jetted target.
Viridian gets you stuck in the walls somehow.
On Mining my night gyr got stuck on...?!?! a toothpick or something?
I JJ'ed over it ... but no, it was big enough to stop me and force me to JJ upwards so I didn't have any momentum to go forward and clear it. It must have been small enough not to see but big enough to need JJets'. Rediculous.
If we end up with these weird physics bugs, why not just let us control our motion in the air like that 20 year old MW2 game did?!
