You nerf Clan to make IS better, while you charge much more for Clan mechs. For example Clan Heroes cost money, while you can buy IS for MC. MC has reduced prices with almost every event. That means, you will lose money nerfing Clan.
So how to fix properly? Make it 14 IS mechs vs 12 Clan. Done.

Dude.
A "Lance" is 4 mechs. A "Company" is 12. That's the IS organization.
A "Star" is 5 mechs. A "Binary" is two stars.
What you're trying to say is that 12 v 10 is how you fix it properly. We already know this. PGI can't make it happen.

Clan Heroes will become available for MC in due time. They were released at the same time as the linebackers, so will go to MC when the linebackers do.

Clan 'mechs are more expensive because they come pre-upgraded. The cost differences are negiligible unless you're planning on selling off all the "bad" Inner Sphere variants - and you can do the same thing to your Omnimechs.
