Nah, I prefer to listen to out-of-game music. Entire Cowboy Bebop soundtrack does me well usually.

New music? I wish... but i feel like my opinions on the matter are ... quite unattainable... and don't quite emotionally fit the Battletech universe... or the general theme at all, Ah screw it you be the judge.
I give you my highly abridged playlist for MWO and all combat situations therein.
Anything Dakka -
Mad-IIC Laser Vomit -
Narctic Cheetash -
Anything King Crab -

I like it a lot-- makes me excited to see what they come up for an OST when MW5 drops.

I'd say I hate it, but that statement isn't strong enough.
I utterly revile the new music.
IMO, it sounds like if Fear Factory did heroine and recorded music while watching gay porn.
I'd much rather have neutral atmospheric since we have to listen to it for long stretches of time both in the Mechlab and while waiting 30+ minutes for a FP drop in SEA time when 3/4 of the mercenary population moves to my side.

I mute it. It takes too much room and presence in MechLab. Old one was better.
I rather had them focus on the bad weapon sounds.
