How do they feel now?

personally for me the SHC's Arms & legs seem to Desolve with just a Stern Stare?
i always run Full Armor, and it sees like a single Glance can now easily strip a SHC,

i also find that the -5%ERLL-Heat & -5%Duration kinda a Joke,
want to run any other Energy it becomes -2.5%heat, -2.5Duration, Posted Image

-Note-
for all those who didnt know,
all SHCs lost 7 Structure to both arms and Legs,
on the (1/24/17 Patch)(Quirk Source)


but what do you think?
was this Change warranted?
is it just SHCs now need to Play more Cautious?
or is it more Players are Targeting SHC Legs now?

has it changed how you confront SHCs?

I wonder if this is a bug on some clan mechs. I just got out of match where I took 3, not full volleys, just three minor hits from a lrm volley on my right to completely disintegrate its armor. It was not just one match, the same thing happened to the right arm on the same summoner the previous match. Ill keep an eye on it and see how things go. I checked the armor and its maxed out for that arm, I also checked the quriks, and the right arm summoner quirks structure is still there. Not sure what the deal is.

I'm using CERLLs from long distance, so my Scat is not melting fast.

When I saw the Cat was getting its quirk pass I was excited. Finally some ammo quirks? Making some of the useless / duplicate omnipods actually do something? Some beam duration/ heat reduction quirks? Nope, nerf hammer making the shadowcat softer than it already is. 12 Hit points lost off each leg, 16 off the left torso, 7 off each arm. Legs and the left torso as most noticeable. Add to that the large pulse nerf and the clan XL nerf and I'm not really sure whats going on in PGI HQ.

On top of that set of 8 quirks are fairly useless as you're going to want that ECM. The energy quirks it does have feel like they have zero impact at all...-2.5% duration and heat is a joke.

My build is actually SSRM18. Usually when my armor is stripped, i'm already ****** anyways that those structures ain't that noticable.

I don't like how often i got legged in it to start off with. I guess i wlll use it less than i was using it before.

I didn't fear them before, and I don't fear them now


The only time I've seen them tonight is when they rounded the corner, without any weapons.
My cGauss had no issues with his remains

Why would the SHC need any extra arm protection?

It's not like it carries most of its weapons in its arms like a Centurion or Phoenix Hawk with their 14 or 16 RA armour bonus, with a single energy hardpoint in the torso, at most, like the Phoenix Hawk.

It's not like its main weapon is supposed to be a fragile gauss rifle that explodes when critted.

GJ balancing guy. You have deftly identified this OP overperforming mech nobody knew about.
