The title says it all. Personally, i think it needs to be replaced so that your AVERAGE match score determins psr, with t5 averaging <150 per match, teir 4 being an average of between 150 and 250, and so on and so forth.
Numbers used here are placeholders, idk what the actual number should be.

Should Psr Go Up Or Down Because Of A Win/or Loss, Or Be Purely Effected By Match Score?

Thing is, if you are T5 playing with other T5s you can possibly get higher match scores. As you go up in tier, you are suppose to meet harder resistance/more skilled opponents. In theory, as you get up in tier rank, you should find it harder to get the same match scores you had before.
So, having your tier based solely on match score as you suggest would... probably not work to be honest.
I do agree that Winning and Losing should have less of an impact on your PSR ranking than it currently does. It should play an affect on it, but not be 90% of your PSR determination either.

Match score would have to be determined differently, as not every 'mech is designed to be able to do as much average damage. The 'mech a player chooses to pilot would affect his PSR more than any single other change.
