At least, according to Russ, it should be lowered.

So, 30 tonners (and even 35 tonners hopefully) will be $15 per basic pack, $30 per collector's pack, and $10 per hero, in the new price system. That reminds me, we still do not have an Urbie hero.

Does that mean that mediums, heavies and assaults are going to be costing more than lights moving forward?

Did someone say Urbanmech Hero?

Also, no where in that chat chain does he say the Urbanmech is or should be lowered. He excused why it wasn't.

In anycase, I wouldn't hold my breath for a reduction.

I would totally buy an Urbanmech hero if it was released, though. Might even buy one for the forum too. Gotta share the love.

I wonder if the Urbie hero would be called Oscar the Grouch.

I think it'd be pretty cool if Urbie pack went down to 15/30 bucks.

Do wonder how would it work for people who already have the standard and want to upgrade it to collector's.
Would they pay the 15 bucks or 10 bucks?
Hmm....

I think you are getting ahead of yourself given that the Javelin is the last single pack they will do for about a year in a half before they re-decide the single mech pack is better again. Granted we also will no longer have the rule of three, so keep that in mind as well.

And we seriously need a revisit to the entire store, and standardized pricing.

While $30 is better than $40 for a cbill boosted mech its still more than the $20 that earlier packs costed for the light level. Though you do get more premium time, especially now that the older packs don't qualify for early adopter rewards. But still I would prefer if you could get a cbill boosted light for $20 or less, drop some of the premium time or something.

Not that I disagree, but you can get the basic pack and a hero for $25, so its close!

I suspect they might give previous owners of the pack the hero urbie for free if it were ever released.

If they do that I'll be sorely tempted to pick it up on my IS account. I miss my Urbies and that warhorn is one of my favorites.

That's what I'm expecting, subsidize the cost of lights by making heavier weight classes more expensive.

$20 for basic pack is a good price point for me to casually buy mechs without much regret. So if they plan to charge more for bigger mechs. My wallet might be harder to open.

It's just that $20 plus 30 days premium is a good deal. I just spend $5 more than I would for 3000MC, I get mechs, and the premium time.

I was thinking about getting the Cyclops. But I wouldn't be if it was $30 for the basic or even $25.
