Geforce Now

Basically you only need a browser and an internet connection, then you can instal a game on a PC owned by Nvidia and play it.

1st moth free

They Charge 7.99 USD per month afterwards

GeForce Go is a line of Laptop video processors. It's an understandable mistake.

Sounds cool. I'm just trying to buy a GTX 760 and link it with my old one. But the price of it is pretty high, despite it being a really old model.

Exactly, I'm wondering to update on summer, but dropping 2000+ EUR when you get basically the same for 8/month left me wondering.

I'll try their service (the free month) and see how it goes

whats the ping like? i mean, you now have TWO connections... yourself to gforce, and gofrce to pgi.

Are games still playable that way?
------------

edit, after watching the promo, im not sure if it works like what dovis claimed...

seems like you still need to purchase the Shield, THEN pay 8 dollars a month

I remember a service like that popping up like... 4 years ago? But I'm pretty sure the company doing it died out.

So, the idea is to pay to rent a PC from Nvidia, which will probably result in horrible lag for multi-player games but is an OK idea for single-player games?

I'm gonna let you go re-read the thread. I'll give you a hint - The post you're looking for comes after #2, but before #4.

You seem to need a shield device and be limited to the games on the list, which doesn't include MWO.

Am I missing something, I'd be very interested if it actually worked the way OP implies.
