If you're going to take 13 HP off my shadowcats legs, can you at least fix the terrain clipping nonsense. 8% in leg damage....orange legs before the fight even starts is unacceptable.

If I remember McGral's test right, having less structure means you are taking less damage when you clip. In other words if you had that extra structure you would've taken more damage. What you should be asking for is armor instead of structure.

I got legged from 100% a few days ago... went from untouched to full red with pretty much 1 hp left on each leg. lulz.

They DID fix that one, supposedly
It was in a Patch Note


Previously, fall damage was based on structure (pre quirks)
When quirks came along...well, have a look

Cute Fox was taking twice the damage, but only 25% more HP

Now, it's just borked, as it's always been.

Can hardly be more clueless with this statement. Because 8t for weapons and a gazillion energy hardpoints vs 16t for weapons and a whooping 3 energy hardpoints is like ... almost exact same.

Tankiness in a vacuum?
One fights at point blank range, another fights at ERLL range ...

Regardless, Viper was already far tankier than SHC to begin with so I can hardly see how making SHC even less tanky suddenly made it into a Viper with ECM.

I thought this was going to be about the terrain being a completely different shape at different view distances. Fix that already too.

Don't forget different shape at different graphic settings. Low settings OP, PGI plz nerf.

I don't energy snipe with SHC, I like to hit and fade with SRMs & ermlas. SCH can spread damage and tank well below 50% and still retain all weapons. I guess I expected the Viper to do the same being smaller and faster but it just didn't seem as tough. The power of ECM I guess. As a close in killer the Viper is great.

I haven't played since the patch but I feel like I probably won't enjoy my 7 MG SHC anymore.
