The issue is the sheer number of LRMs per team and mindless ease with which they can be employed.

Want to push an edge? No, lol, here comes 200+ missiles, twist and run away. Pray no one pops a UAV, because there is no way you are shooting it down with a constant stream of missiles incoming.

No one is "spotting", they are just having a laser seizure in your general direction while the game auto locks so that a bunch of guys running 4x LRM20 NTGs or 4xLRM15 MDD/TBR can advance in tier despite running the game at 11fps.

The current state of LRM spam is just power creep for the half blind. Most of the game has devolved into 2 button alpha builds, LRMs are just the team version of that... 3-9 guys cluelessly spinning in circles waiting for R to light up so they can fire off a team alpha that doesn't require LOS.

Buff narc and tag, buff direct fire, and make spotting an active ability instead of just something the game does automatically for you.

Salt mining with LRM's? Yes please. LRM's are weak and always were.
Think LRM's are too strong? Find cover. If a whole lance just got pulled
out of position because they all raged and tried to gank me then get killed
by the rest of my team? Hey guess what I just did my job.

Well yes, but maps without real cover like that snow field map. NARC is a death sentence. And if you live, the enemy traded so much armor at a profit vs you that they'll go in with tons (literally) of advantage.

Really that's the only gripe I have about LRMs. And its on that map.

How often in the quickplay queue does this happen?

First you need to get on Polar Highlands in the first place. I will easily play 5 times as many matches on Crimson Straight as I do on Polar and Crimson is basically a free pass to avoid LRMs because the fight ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS happens under the platfrom granting nigh complete LRM immunity. And of course sprinkle in the easily 5 times more common HPG matches....overall more matches are played on maps that are severely punishing to LRM use than matches on Polar Highlands.

Next up the enemy needs to get a mech with a NARC and a pilot that can use it effectivley.

A NARC and a good pilot behind the NARC is only half the equation. Next you need at least one dedicated LRM platform assigned randomly to the NARCing mechs team. This granted is fairly common the NARC is the rarer portion of the equation but... Both need to happen.

And lastly you need a team that is incapable of grasping the simple concept of aggressive charging when faced with potent and accurate LRM fire on low cover map.

Just realize that every time this perfect storm occurs the LRM mech has probably played through massive amounts of hoop jumping and frustration playing HPG and Crimson straight over and over and over again intersperced with River city and Mining Collective matches...not to mention those escorts with the uncounterable indestructable ECM towers...
