Please stop asking for locks, for help if you start to get taken down, or just wasting tonnage in anything bigger than an adder. we light pilots should go on strike and MMWOGA

Good LRM boats don't rely on those types of locks, they'll more often lock onto enemies in brawls with allies to help them out, target people in the open, make their own trades, or will be tagging or NARCing for themselves.
At best you're giving help to players who really aren't trying at all and are very likely to do worse than your light mech even if you do help. For the sake of the team, see yourself as more valuable and keep yourself alive and backstab as many enemies as possible to bring out a win.

Backup weapons are nice and make the cheetahs go away if you are a good shot.

I play in the Oceanic, so yeah I think some of you know who I'm referring to.
He's the reason I love AMS so much.

Sooooo satisfying.
See yur tiny rear exhaust port on the battlefield.
On a side note those who don't target the mech they're shooting at.
Are simply a notargettard and a detriment to the team.

Eventhough I pilot the titsmoner that is a 2xcerppc sniper, I would make it a point to appear within 80meters from the lrmboat and strip its component one by one.

meanwhile a dakkabear you could have driven back into cover murders the rest of the team.......
the trick is to wait for the lurmboat to start hitting it then fire and they dont notice your damage but i have said too much and the brothers of the lightmech clan may kill me for revealing secrets

When (most) LRM Boats asks for locks, they are not asking you to facetank the enemy and maintain constant contact. They're just asking you to hit 'R' when you do see someone
Also, if you 'flank' 1,500 meters away from the team and to the rear of the enemy formation, the LRMs can't reach you.

Play more aggressively and share armor whenever possible. Move with the push, stay in the second lines
Sincerely
