Mercs make cash. Cash is king.
So, wouldn't it make sense for loyalists to get something to make up for the lower cash?

simple, mercs then gain the ability to change, but they get paid the same regardless.

faction loyalists at rank 17+ should get a passive bonus to all cbill rewards based on their faction rank
for example:
rank 17 = passive +2.5% cbill bonus for all faction warfare matches
rank 18 = passive +5% cbill bonus for all faction warfare matches
rank 19 = passive +7.5% cbill bonus for all faction warfare matches
rank 20 = passive +10% cbill bonus for all faction warfare matches
also you should be able to change factions once per season for free without losing any faction points. mercs should only be able to change factions once per season too.

Now you might be asking, "Will why did you put the FRR logos on the Zeus and Jenner?" It's quite simple really, in lore the Free Rasalhague Republic never existed long enough to make their own equipment, so they had to make the best of what got from the Lyrans and Dracs. So in the Kungsarme', it was a common sight to see a Dragon fighting alongside a Zeus or a Panther backing up a Commando. Gamewise, it's a way to help out FRR players who don't have any national mechs of their own yet.
