Faction Stability Question

Been with the game for a good 3 months now, was starting to do faction scouting to earn mech bays. Thing is, I've been disconnected from a match twice today, told disconnection as I'm thrown into mech lab, yet I never lost internet. This hasn't happened in the 3 months I've been here in simple pug quick plays, is faction unstable or what is this?

Servers are having some hiccups lately in general. PGI posted about it on the front page
