Proposal For New Skill Tree Baseline

Anyways I agree with PP, if they get refunded back into a pool, I can sell the rubbish mechs in my collection and use that XP for good use. It's also going to free up many mech bays.
On the flip side I'll need to buy multiples of my favs but I can accept that small trade. I just hope it's not going to work out more of a grind overall.

most of these threads are not useful. This one was actually unnecessary.
Like before there is still not enough information to go on.

Well, that's why this is a "proposal" or "suggestion" if you like. Note I never made any critique toward PGI on whether they did a good job or not regarding this issue. Those critiques will come later after the release and people are lining up with pitchforks.
I am merely suggesting something that might work to avoid the pitchforks. There might be better ideas, there might not. But I feel at least this thread is a lot more thoughtful than that other "it's February, let's get our pitchforks ready" thread.

razenWing, you are aware that you win nobody to your side, even if you have a legitimate and well reasoned argument if you're an abrasive [CENSORED], right?
Lawlz, it's not like I work for PGI and must win anyone over. If people like my idea, they will flock and PGI will listen. Otherwise, meh. Besides, I am not being an abrasive CENSORED, you and scout are being oversensitive slowflakes.
Personally, I don't care. You could have let this thread died anytime you wanted. But combine you and that other snowflake revived this thread like 5 times. So, thank you?

What I'm trying to say is that, even if they like your idea and even if it's reasonable, they would dismiss it out of hand simply because you're a [CENSORED] about it. You can call Scout or I over-sensitive, sure, but that doesn't mean that we are, it just means that you're unwilling to look at this objectively.
I'm honestly trying to help you see this because you could have a good idea here or in the future, but, again, it'll be soundly ignored if they don't like the person behind the idea. That's not right.

Objectively? Get over yourself dude.

So again PGI, if you are reading this, that's another compelling reason to setup a baseline based on percentage, not just a blanket XP/Cbill refund that might amount to a currency nerf.
