Just take company command and switch lances around. People might be mildly annoyed but you may as well use the command wheel to call priority targets while you're at it.

Just TK the guy and then you'll get the Lance in Formation with the active Lance-mates. Posted Image

Does that work mid match?

LOL.

I just got 13 LIFs in that match you and I we were in on Crimson. I was in a Heavy with 3 Assaults. We just pushed the tunnel, pushed back around the tunnel, pushed back through the tunnel again, and then they were mostly dead.

An Assault lance that has balls is a beautiful thing to behold.

It's just really, really terrible event design. Utterly bad.

It makes event progression depend on how much scrublord puggels are scrubing it up to a large degree.

Might aswell make an event "if you are a solo player, roll a dice at the beginning of the match. Get a total of 250 points"

If we legged the other three guys on our lance at the start, then we'd be sure they couldn't wander too far :D

It was a difficulty I faced as well, probably four matches though.

It's funny that getting biggest match score (I did it in two evenings without even thinking about it) was way easier than this.

I finished it with like 40 lance in formations from one match on frozen city, where neither side was willing to cross over and neither team really had enough PPC carriers to do a poke off, honestly

The brawl at the last 2 minutes of the match was quite spectacular, at least

It seems you need to get the LF achievement early in the event because once most people get it, they stop sticking together and just run off in all directions to get killed alone.

Honestly, I've just been running my Warhawk Prime and Night Gyr AC/2 builds while reminding my team that the event is going on, and getting it done really easily. Sure, I've had a few AFKs/non-cons in my matches, but all you need is for an enemy light mech to pop them and you can get back to the event. ;)

Lol. Yeah it seemed like that to me too. Was halfway day two... completed yesterday or the day before... when played as a meduim I regularly ended up with locusts in my lance... frozen city in a heavy or a assault for the win (or at least a heap of lance in formations) lol.

Try get putting in the Alpha Lance as a Night Gyr, and begging your light mech teammates to not run away. I had that happen to me a couple days ago.

Yeah I think it's easier to get in an assault lance, as they are more likely to stay near each other.

More likely... but I recall several games in a row where 1 assault would be miles from the rest of the team... right from the get go they would set sail for places unknown :/

Warhawks (bought some in the sales) were good for lance thing - relatively fast and mostly fun... and i was running an ammo starved quad cuac2 huntsmen... so much fun... not sure I got a single lance award in one though. (Looking enviously towards the Jade kite... and wondering why I havent got one yet, for 6xuac2).

Don't need the JK for 6xUAC/2. Just have 3 guns in one arm without it. (I don't own the JK myself)

It's the only non-lore build I've piloted in a long time, but damn it's good. Runs out of ammo fast sadly, but works wonders.

And yes, I use a macro for it. It makes it just too fun. If you ever decide to pick it up, get ADHD Fire Control and go to town with it.
