Well I wasn't a fan of boy Kirk, but I think the rest of it stacked up just fine. It was futuristic to now as the original was in the 60's.

But hey, to each their own.

Well the old movies (even teh ones with the awesome Picard) had this rather dark look of a warship.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye, and asks you if you paid your dues; you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Anyway, my favorite "B" sci-fi movie has to be Alien - the budget wasn't exactly huge, but look what they did with it!

I think the movie "Species" would be the best "Worst" sci-fi movie ever made IMO.

They turned it into a vehicle for Signorney Weaver to cash in on a few movie deals. Actually Alien was a very good movie but ALIENS was probably the best out of all of them!!!! Something about Vasqueze screaming "Lets rock!" and unloading with the heavy pulse rifle just makes me giggle.

I can think of only one scene which would justify this statement and it has something to do with Natasha Henstridge and a hot tub!

Star trek 11 is bad? say what!

Captain of the Kelvin: "Fire all phasers!" ...*PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW*... "Damage report"

Engineer: "...The weapons are offline!" (you mean the weapons you just fired? :) )

*Cue scene of more shooting of the "offline" weapons

I'm pretty sure the plot went downhill from there... :)

Best bad movie needs to be Dark Angel (AKA, I Come In Peace): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099817/

Or pretty much any movies with aliens and Dolph Lundgren.
