How are the Clans even REMOTELY able to attack Draconis Combine's Midway? The closest held planet is Shimonoseki which is over 60LYs away as the protons fly, with no known planetary systems between them. A standard jump has a max of 30LY. The closest route through known systems would take a total of 6 jumps through enemy territory.

Lithium-fusion drive cores are standard on a few warships, which would allow a double jump without needing a recharge in-between, if you're looking for an actual lore explanation. Also, just because there's no planets in between those two doesn't mean there aren't systems capable of recharging a jumpship that are uninhabited (and thus not shown).

But yeah, PGI.

If the clans made it to Midway they must have some elite dropships. Yorktown, Hornet, Enterprise
