In keeping with the highest traditions of the great and free Rasalhague Republic, the Son’s of Odin have once again held their official elections for office. It is with great pride and satisfaction that we joyfully announce the unanimous election of Nobel555 as the new Riksforestandare of the Son’s of Odin. As with all highly evolved forms of government, the next few weeks will be a period of intense cooperation as we prepare for the formal transfer of the mantle of leadership.

Please join me in congratulating Nobel on his appointment.

As with any leader approaching their dotage and the inevitable decline in ones' faculties one must step aside lest the follies of the past slow our progress towards a better future. During the next few weeks we will be sharing leadership and, barring Nobel regaining his sanity, transitioning all leadership and decision making to Nobel and the council of Generals.

At that point I will take to growing prize-winning tomato's and vegetables in the garden and feeding them lots of clan-blood meal. (I will NOT, however, be growing potatoes)

While the rest of the galaxy tears itself apart the spirit of the Free Rasalhague Republic lives on, undiminished by the clan occupation. Our institutions, our democracy able to withstand all the the clan can give and still live on. At a oath-taking ceremony in the Son's of Odin's Aesir Konghal today at 6:00 PM Universal time the preeminence of the Free Rasalhague Republic was on display for all to see as the final proclamation of the new Riksforestandare was signed and Nobel555 spoke the oath of office amidst waves of cheering mechwarriors to officially begin his term.

Are we going to hear of collusion with the Clans to gain 100% vote? Did the Clan rig this election? Will there be cries of #notmyriksforestandare? Will Nobel555 open his mouth but sound like Mechthedane?
