Ok, seems to me that this is getting WAY TO PERSONAL... people are calling people out, questioning people's integrity, history and stuff like that..

That IS NOT why I started this thread..

Of the first 4 pages, maybe one or two other posters posted their "FW experience".. the rest is just baseless name calling, moralizing, and discussing on the type of people we want / do not want in FW..

The main point that we are all revolving around is do we want FW to be "serious mode" or not..

It seems to me that most people do want that.. I could be wrong..

but can we all at least agree on the fact that we want people to actually PLAY the game when they get into FW, instead of ruin the experience of all the other players?

If this needless bickering continues for much longer, I beg the moderators to close this topic.

The personal stuff is the best part though...kinda like watching vids on World Star. Everyone getting along perfectly would be too boring and homogenized.

Ahem! I'm not the one who intentionally "exploited the hell out of the KDK-3" allegedly to "force PGI listen" (Posted Image) or some such shenanigans.

Why you brought me into this I have no clue. So don't you go bring me into this or any such furball. Posted Image
<smh>

1. My strategy succeeded. KDK-3 has been nerfed.

2. You like to constantly preach about how IS players should "just deal with" any Clan superiority in game, instead of asking for balancing. Yet you do not even play the game.

And you did it while knowingly ruining the enjoyment of others. How very noble of you. Posted Image

If suggesting a multi-dimensional alternative to balancing is "constantly preach about how IS players should 'just deal with' any Clan superiority in game", then I am guilty as charged. Posted Image

I sure hope everyone realizes that people can have alts and/or own IS Mechs, right?

Or in MWO's case, by the faction tag they display. Posted Image

At the very least, I am not the one constantly whoring between factions like a merc.

<DId you see what I did there?>

Just to make a point to anyone and everyone who says that my (The OP's) position on playing in FW is "play my way or get out"..

It most certainly IS NOT..

My position to FW play is.. PLAY.

When somebody jerks around in FW, its the equivalent on stopping your car in the middle of a busy highway to jerk off, blocking traffic and causing a jam in the process..

I don't mind you ***********.. but DRIVE or get to the service lane and let other people drive.

FW (invasion) has objectives, social rules and a progression to the way it should be played if you want to win and not have a bad experience. It was put there by PGI. Just like a highway has rules as to how to drive on a highway.

If you don't want to win, at least don't drag the 11 other people on your team down with you.

I don't mind it if you don't know how to play, as long as you are there to learn. I don't mind you bringing sub-optimal, or even trial mechs.. I really don't...

But if you KNOW how to play and "you're to drunk to care"... well then buddy... yes, GET OUT of the game.. sober up.. and come back.

The match I described in my OP had many people who did not want to play, did not know how, and did not care..

I've, personally, never seen such a bad team. And I've been in this game for a long time..

That is why I gave zero flacks about disconnecting. In that moment, my 4 mechs would get farmed whether I stood still or tried to solo the whole 48 enemy mechs myself. It would make zero difference for the team, and I would have ruined my whole night.

So PLEASE, lets stop this pointless bickering over the nature and character of players and the mode itself.. this is NOT what this post was intended for..

Please POST YOUR EXPERIENCE, and that's it.. no need to comment and spam / flame / hate / salt / bittervet / drag up old wounds / namecall.

Please.. be civil.

Perhaps then you should have made the topic in the correct forum to begin with.

2ndly, perhaps drop with a team instead of solo.

It comes from being combat disabled. Something the majority of you know nothing about.

Someday you may get that the worst behavior is always justified in groupthink so it should always be avoided.

In CW... Play.......... or what?

What if they don't want to play the way you want them to play? What do you want then? Because I thought you made it pretty clear.

As for all those who think that "playing" is limiting their special snowflakiness.. Please.. don't play MWO..

If you're different, does not mean you're useful.. and in a team-oriented game like MWO, we, the 11 of us that are "normal", need you to be useful..

Be useful...aka "play the way I want you to play"... or "don't play MWO"

This is why I've been playing mostly single-player games lately so I can do what I want, when I want, how I want without being discourteous to others.

When such rare occasions do occur, I myself used to go into "limb collection mode" by trying to dismember as many of the enemy as possible. In that way I keep the fight interesting, at least for myself. You do still have an opportunity to give the some of the enemy a bloody nose -- or die trying.

I suggest you do the same or something similar.

My bad experiences,
is like in Hellebore Springs, and the call is to go/push, Counter/Anti clockwise around the gun, So I do
and run into the team at top of the hour, going Clock wise

or a Push is called, and the pilot at the front, stops . . and it's at a choke point, so you turn slightly to the right (or left) to go around them, and so did the pilot behind you, but now like some three stooges sketch, we're all jammed at the choke point, just because one person stopped.

Ahh here's the good one, you need to back up, but someone is tree stumping you, you end up having to go forward into more fire, and turn, . . to find out . .oh it really was a tree (or any object) and not another pilot

LOL, They day I would care is a long time coming if ever. Like anyone should be upset that some group of cucks on a video game forum thinks poorly of them.
Let's be serious, most of these guys could not let go of Power Rangers when they left high school. The lore and all the seriousness of being a team player. Its a joke right? I am supposed to care for what reason?
I play because I got injured and spent the past several years recovering. Don't think for a New York second that I would be here if I wasn't.
Well that and its fun pulling the Power Rangers string once in a while :)
