I would NOT be for this.

Others have already covered the main points of it promoting running, and being harder on new players. And I don't see it adding anything like immersion.

Adds complexity to economy balance. Unless they just made it so you could turn it on and pay for R&R but didn't make more cbills. Problem there is few people would use that. Usually when I've seen the optional way proposed, the players want to make more cbills but have to pay R&R.

Also everyone does not get what they want. My issue with it promoting running and hiding isn't because I think I will run and hide. I'm worried that my team mates with R&R turned on will run and hide. We already have some players do that now to try and save KDR, add in economy incentives to do so would increase that.

R&R is really bad idea for multiplayer.

Many Multiplayer Wargames have R&R

R&R for FW not QP -with a logistic System ,Fabrication of Ammunition and Weapons..lost Planet YX with a LRM Factory =10% less LRM Ammunition for the Factory that lost this Planet

Here are some pros and cons I thought of:
Pros:
Chance to earn more CBills.
Adds realistic aspect (realism) to the game.

Absolutely YES:

One of the biggest problems this game has is also its most distinktive feature.

The Mechlab.

What most MW series players do not know is that in MWs parrent Universe, Battletech, Mech construction rules are part of campaign or game master tools, because of balancing issues.

R&R as well as availability and modification complexity factors are much needed tools to balance the mechlab, controll meta builds and Mech population.

For example:
Too many clan cheetas ?
No problem let there be a little shortage of legactuators...problem solved.

PPL are ragin because they WANT to play their broken little hitbox distorted toy without paying the downsides?

Well just do the right thing for one time

Ignore them.

Uber mechs cost uber ressources to field them.

Repair and rearm was in this game a long time ago. It failed dismally. They removed it. It's not coming back, nor do I want it to come back.

It would only ever work if they had some kind of hardcore mode, but that would require a larger playerbase I think.
