My words here only reiterate whats already flooding the forums. The price per point of the skill tree system is way too high just to even get my mechs back to where they were. As it sits on the live server, the only way to make any money is to group up and play FP, which completely and totally in its entirety, takes a massive middle finger wielding dump on Joe Schmoe, and gives a gold star to those who can put up. Far too many of the players who are still around cannot dedicate the time required to overcome the gap between solo and group Q. I cannot recall a time where I've ever had more than 25mil to my name because I'm always working on mechs, trying to find balance, and doing plug-and-play with all the various options. I'm reduced down to probably 5 mechs that I ever play anymore because everything in between just feels like garbage no matter what they get loaded with.

if the PTS sees no change between now and launch in regards to its pricing model, it'll take a helluva lot for my friends to convince me to continue playing.

I guess boosting the cadet bonus from 25 matches to 35 matches with an extra 10m cbills + 50k gxp will help puggies everywhere. Us space billionaires have no issue with having the funds to build our roster of mechs.

I make about 200,000 a match it seems so thats alot of matches worth of money just to get the full potential out of a mech. Doesnt do anything to help the skill gap between new players and old players who have plentiful amount of cbills to fully upgrade their mechs. Quick way to really disgrunt new players. Especially as a new player who get thrown into tier 2 and tier 3 matches just to get slaughtered.

I have 84 mechs thats 764,400,000 cbills to fully max all of them!! Wtf approximately 3600 matches.. seriously wtf

Natred, thats precisely my point. the "wage gap" as it were, is too massive as it stands rn
