I didn't read every post in here so I'm sure there's already someone else who came up with this idea.
We know you guys at PGI are trying to squeeze in "ghost grind" along with the new system, in the form of cBill costs. While many people, myself included, hate the idea of being set back so much just to return to the point we are now in the live server, i can understand that you wouldn't be willing to just remove cbill costs from the node leveling. So, my idea presents a middle point: Let us use HXP (historic XP) to level our mechs, without needing to convert it to GXP first, and let us use that HXP free of charge. That way, we will still have to grind extra for the upcoming mechs or even for duplicates of the versions we already own, but we can get up to speed much faster in the case of mech we already mastered and ground in the past.
Hope this post gets enough attention from the community to reach and be considered by you devs.
