So, basically, everyone really has a problem spending 9.1 million cbills to spec a mech. (if you have read my previous posts, you will see its a complete game breaker for me that will result in several refunds and complete loss of my interest in the game)

I don't think it should cost cbills to spec a mech... That's why you earn cbills and xp per match. If you start to require both, then you may as well do away with exp...There's no point to it.

A huge part of my enjoyment in the game is working with my mech as I level it to find a build that is right for me...I have, on multiple occasions spent 30 million cbills trying different builds on a single chasis. The new cost system system makes that type of fun prohibitively expensive. I can't be the only person who likes changing things up from time to time. The way you are headed, you will force both veterans and new players out of the game and give massive incentives for people to NOT buy mechs. ie, your tight budget becomes anorexic as sales because people really won't want to grind things out more.

Now respeccing? Sure, make that cost a NOMINAL amount of cbills.
