1.The first one is simple, its called a skill TREE not a skill fountain, you should be able to activate any node that's connected to an active node, not just the one below it.
2. Don't put bad nodes in places you have to take. The main culprits being: Hill climb, Quick ignition, and Target retention/decay. The point of a skill tree is to avoid abilities you don't need in order to build the best mech possible and compliment your play style.
3. For Fracks sake just put Magazine Capacity as the perk in the description. It's cluttered enough as it is.
4. The PPC and Gauss skills just need to be a bit better. These are weapons you have to dedicate a build to in order to be as effective as other weapon types and should be rewarded for the commitment. Ideas: Gauss causing a few more points of damage on successive hits on the same location within a time limit. An ability that gives extra heat reduction for each PPC mounted on a mech past the first.
5. By far the worst offense of the new system is the respec costs. Paying to respec in it's self is no new idea and is expected, however, you should NOT have to pay in order to allocate points you already purchased once!!! This is just plain stupid and is prohibitive as hell. The whole point of this kind of system is to allow tweaking your build as needed and considering that ALL variants have multiple builds makes this even more of a numb skull move. Fix It!!!

Yup, agree here myself. In my experience with my Dire Wolf mech, the most important to me would to make it faster and more agile. It's got good fire power, but could always use more cooling. Everything else offered is a distant second to me and not worth my time and money. Like you and many others, it's WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! I'm no millionaire and do not have much money to expend and under the current setup. I'll very much be limited in spending to get ahead and just might get bored and quit to fond another game to play. I quit Warships of the World for that very reason.
