They're too granular, there's no meaningful feedback from purchasing any given node. The player is too often forced to purchase completely redundant nodes on the way towards their intended goal (to max out Radar Dep, you have to complete most of the Sensor tree). Some of the skills bundled together don't make any sense. The lack of restriction in how many points can be spent on a tree promotes boating rather than planning.

I voted that 91 points seem like too many. Do we really need 5 levels of autocannon range? I see people taking all 5 skills 90% of the time if they're going to take autocannon range at all. The same thing could be accomplished with only 3 skills.

i put ballistic tree as too weak mainly just because i want at least 20% cool down for dakka ac2 builds. we got at most 20% cool down form old skill tree and modules. if they dont want some bigger guns to have a 20% cool down just make it so each gun is affected differently by the skill. this is pretty much only problem i have with skill tree. dakka wasnt op anyway why it need to be nerfed.

1. The per-node CB cost should lose a zero... so.. It should be 10.000 CB/Nodes..

2. Inside a Skill Tree branch, instead of this mixed/blocking matrix system, the skills should be fully separated and places in simple lines.. (Like LRM/R1-R2-R3-..,LRM/ CD1-CD2-CD3-..,LRM/SP1-,SP2,SP3.. )

3. Beside percentages, the tool tipps should display the exact numbers and measurements.. Like 2,5% range (= 22,5 meter).

4. For a new Mech, players should automaically receive 2 or 3 free respec-token for that Mech..

I think your poll doesn't offer the resolution necessary to discuss how we really feel. You've set it to deal with only quantities, but the major issues are qualitative. The quantities in the nodes aren't at the top of the list of things that need addressed; the organization and theme of those nodes is. The impact to NPE is. Etc.

I think they should roll it out and then let the real data come in, and then balance as needed.
