Why do I have to add arm skill nodes on a mech that has no arms? Are you serious?
If we have to enpower the PB arms, please give the ability a sense and let him flap them and fly away.
PGI guys says that the new skill tree is intended to have a better customization, but when you see fails like this one... well
PGI are FORCING player to add nodes (a lot of them) to useless characteristics, making players waste time, XP and money. Thats not the way, punishing players does not make game better.
Please, learn to give some satisfaction to your customers, guys, we are always feeling punished, loosing more and more for the neverending "Balance Crusade". Don't force us to make senseless configurations.
And, please, turn off the frustration generator.
Regards.

You dont. I gave my Pirates Bane, ZERO, upper chassis nodes. Each has 1 point of Armor and serve no use.

For most mechs its all about 1 weapon, lower chassis, mech ops, defensive. With the rest thrown into sensors, aux, jj. If you are running an all arm weapon mech(jager or many pheonix hawks, the upper chassis is something to work on.
