I find the MECH to be exceedingly comfortable! It has one thing I am not sure any other MECH has.

A crotch fan.

I love my crotch fan.

Actually, as much as I like this ride I find it generally suffers from the same problem as the Nova. It is just a bit slow. 50 ton mediums should go faster. The other issue is speed seems to also be a large component of agility in this game. So the slower you move the slower you turn or twist. From my point of view, the lower armor of a medium should be offset by speed, similar to how lights work but to a lesser degree.

That's why its best role is as an ERPPC poptart IMO because you just need to be able to move fast enough.

I ran 4xERML + 2xSSRM6/2xSSRM4 and poptarted with that.

Right now I'm running 4xMPL + 2xML.

The only issue I have with it is the honking huge CT that always without fail gets critted out before anything else even when I twist, same issue with the NTG, and I can make the Dragon work(to be fair the Dragon has armor and structure buffs).

2x LPL, 4x ERML

4x SRM6-A (arms), 4x ERML (torso) [/Edit]

pgi likes to stick a lot of useless tech bits inside the mechs to make them look more interesting. frankly i wish they would stop, it just looks cheep and generic. like those rotating cylinders in the night gyr (completely blocking the wrap around windows the cockpit offers). its like what the hell are these things and why are they in the cockpit? so you can animate textures and submodels, big whoop te do. the little fan in the huntsman, that looks kind of like a tricked out mini itx computer case. at least its out of the way and not blocking sight lines. i do use head tracking and i wish pgi would remember that feature when designing cockpits.

Really love the Huntsman, I haven't elited it yet and I am outperforming most of the assault mechs. Before people shout nerf, it's already flimsy, the only way can I can play this is stay well out of the front line. Hard to do with the SRM/Streak brawler variant so I am going to replace one launcher and stick NARC on. Give a people a reason to fear me :)
The speed doesn't bother me too much but it is unusual. This is where I feel the hunchie IIC beats it. Asides that the thin profile seems to draw less attention.

Just wished they didnt just leave one slot free in the foot and allowed two for a heat sink. They could have moved some fixed JJ into a torso and armour/endo into the arms.

It looks like something more menacing to me than a fan. More like a blender or a garbage disposal. Better watch where you place your foot or you might not have a foot left.
