Weapon Skills:
- Baseline velocity increase for projectiles - This was something I recommended. Top velocity quirks were chopped down some and baseline velocity to everything increased (though via skills instead of base velocity). So now all mechs can have faster PPCs and the AC/10 won't be a horribly slow ranged weapon. Your ER PPC Mist Lynx and Shadowcat will be less bad.
- Baseline UAC jam chance - If they keep this, good. Mechs like the Ilya Muromets suffer due to its lack of jam chance reduction despite being able to carry 3 UAC/5s. This does not change my issue with Kodiak-3 and Dakkawolf which clearly do not need a -15% reduction, but this is mostly a mech design/balance issue. Mechs that can carry 2+ UACs can now do so without feeling like an idiot if they don't have jam quirks.
Mobility:
- From what I read, mobility is higher overall which will again increase survivability. The ability to grab some hill climb along with the generally higher values for mobility will allow experienced players to take less damage on top of their higher armor values and will make the game feel more responsive.
I hope these changes are retained in the next iteration of the skill tree system.
