I don't know about anyone else but putting the warrior in MechWarrior would be more likely to bring my interest than new weapons.
The mech trees, is just more mech content. Not to be a downer because the new mech trees look amazing and a welcome addition.
But a little bit of story and atmosphere and those sorts of things is also interesting and been missing so long that more mech isn't as exciting as it could be.
