I just bought back into IS mechs.
Endosteel used to be the best weight savings especially with XL engines.

Is Light Fero armour, and a Light engine a better combo? Should I use all three or would I run out of critical slots?

I want as much firepower and dhs as I can carry.

Endo gives you the most weight for the slots, so I would take that over Ferro each time.

I only use light ferro if I have a few slots left and can use the weight saving.

Endo is always better than FF and almost always better than LFF unless you're space-starved.

"Light FF" is half as good as FF. In BT it only "bulks" you half as much as FF. The weight savings in BT and MWO is half as much as FF.

Endo is always superior.

Almost always. There are builds where using Endo you end up with spare tonnage and no space to use it, whereas with LFF you can fit on an extra heat sink or two.
