Yes. They did. It's a pretty cool robot in TT..... but would probably be a bit boring in MWO... and apparently humanoid 35 tonners are "DoA" or some such silliness now. (weirdly, had a blast the last few times I took my Ember out..... but hey, what do I know? I admit I ain't a Light Jock)

Wouldn't mind seeing the Dark Age Spider, either, TBH

I'm pretty sure the MWO Spider took some inspiration from the Dark age Spider.

I don't think it's a matter of being DoA but rather just not being ideal. For example, compare the Ember to the AC. And before someone says it, no it's not a crutch. Just want an IS mech that's of comparable quality to the Clans.

when I am in an Assault, I'd much rather see an ACH than a Locust.

I would like to see this be added in MWO, it look like it will have Spider's skinny hitboxes to help spread damage, but most of the other variants gonna blow compare to the 9K, either drop a med pulse laser for a single mg or adding a piece of equipment, or entirely.

That's fine but the point was about 35t lights versus a 30 or if you prefer 20 ton mech. Since the rescale 35t lights are on the bigger side and even though they aren't DOA they have suffered a notable nerf. So any conversation about ideal light mechs may end with the 35ters left out.
