I was just in a match and watched a team mate with a Marauder IIC armed with dual gauss firing away with no apparent charge up time. I asked about it in chat and someone said the charge mechanic had been removed, and extra cooldown time added to make up for it. I then went into the mechlab to see what this was all about and both my clan and IS mechs still charge up their gauss rifles before firing. Have I missed something here? Was he cheating, or is there a new module I haven't seen before? Has someone figured out a macro that can bypass the charge up? Or, does the charge up not show when you are spectating? Super confused. I liked the zero charge Gauss, and would love to see it back in the game, but not if people are cheating to get it.

Spectator bug
You don't see his charge, but he has one

Also that is why, depending on ping and other items, similar reason as the spectator's view is not sync'd up to the pilot's crosshairs/hits.

Yeah in this game you can be spectating and fully think your team mate is on drugs.
But really you don't see what is going on the same way.
