So i need some help with an ebon jag build.I really like to brawl and I know this mec ahs some potential to brawl. I am wondering what good brawl builds there are. Maybe LB20 and missiles, ultras and lasers. I am looking for anything that will get me a great brawling build. I dont mind if the cost is high I have a lot of c-bills.

Brawling is mostly about overwhelming the enemy. The best brawlers focus on autocannons and SRMs, due to their high damage, DPS and low heat. Energy weapons aren't ideal, especially Clan energy weapons, since they only give you a few shots before you risk overheating.

That said, the Ebo Jago isn't the most well suited for that role. Its hardpoints are spread far apart, and its torso missile and ballistic hardpoints increase the size of its hitboxes, making them easier to destroy.

I personally don't run my Jags as brawlers, but you could try something like these:

Ebon Jaguar's not a good brawler at all, but in T4 you'll be able to get away with just about anything if you play smart.

It mostly suffers from bad hitboxes for brawling, it can't easily shield its center torso by twisting like most good brawlers, but it does move pretty fast and it can hold a lot of firepower. Here's a couple builds.

If you want a brawler buy an Orion IIC-A and use this build:

The thing has much better hitboxes for brawling, an empty arm it can shield with, a better brawling loadout, much more armor, and its torso hitboxes can be rather confusing to enemies.

Ok, now that people that dont think EBJ is good for brawling suggested you EBJ brawling builds, hear out the man with over 1mln XP on EBJ most of which he gained in brawl.

1) Easy way
7spl + lbx20
6 ersl + 2lbx10 - more range, lower profile, less alpha
7 spl + 3lbx2 - somehow the most consistant EBJ brawler build for todays solo queue. Ability to return fire on long range maps with the biggest close range dps on top (lbx2 cd module included).
These builds are suited for sustained close range fights and while they will fall short against Orion, Timber or Summoner splat builds, they handle IS mechs better due to ability to isolate components.

2) Not an easy, but more rewarding way
5 spl + 2srm6(A) + 2uac5 - the most risky build, but when lucky with jams you can take on most of assaults in the game
5 ersl + 2srm4 + 2lbx10 - more reliable
Basically you want to hop onto one opponent (isolated, if possible) and blast him to death using coolshots. Three weapon types are not easy to handle. With lack of heatsinks you must perfectly choose the moment to switch to ballistic+srm combo for most sustained dps.

Unfortunately, arm missle pods of EBJ are among the worst missle hardpoints in the game, dont use them if you are not a huge SRM fan.
