I am assuming either March 3rd or the 10th as the nights they will host it but would be nice to hear a more official date set.
Other topics that should be discussed are
- Skill tree follow up
- New game mode (assualt 2.0)
- ??

is pgi planning on anything in regards to end of maintenance life? you know, the point where operating costs exceed the income. or do they just intend to pull out the rug from under us, shut it down, and bury it? will they hand over the server side to the community or will the whole thing be made stand alone? this game cant last forever and id like pgi to have a plan for what to do when it cant keep its servers up and running anymore.

...Tell me more about the Gauss Knight?
Not much to tell
It's a Black Knight with a ballistic arm.
One of PGIs promotions actually featured it with a UAC5.
Of course, you cannot tell how many lasers it will actually have, because LegoMechs.

That's it? A SINGLE BALLISTIC? On an energy mech? Does it at least get ECM? PGI give me a reason to buy this then shut up and take my money!

Hah... I believe we all thought this about numerous other things over the years. Should we really even consider these roadmaps as any indication of deliverable hard deadlines given PGI's history? Nope.
Its simply folly to believe anything these guys announce or write down in a roadmap. Sorry its nothing at all personal. Its just pragmatism based on a real track record.

Tell me about when they didn't pull through on a mech announcement though? When they delayed something like this? Or the next step delivered paid product, I do not recall them ever pushing back product. Say what you want about game modes, features announced ect. But PGI does have a spotless record when it comes to actually paid for product. Money plays a larger role then the other stuff that we take for free with the game. PGI does deliver on mechs, that is a guarantee.
