Most of us don't concern ourselves with the fact that one day our home may catch on fire and we may have to escape from this event. We put it in the back of our minds, not trying to worry about it. Good idea on one hand, really bad on the other.

So here is a tip just incase. We all have flashlights around the house, and these might help you escape from a fire. However with the smoke filling the rooms, how can you find the door. Simple. Stick a small circular reflector on the upper or lower corner of the door upon the side that the knob is one, not the hinges. In this environment, the flashlight will hit the reflector and help serve as a guide to the door. I use a white reflector on mine, blends in to the door most of the time and I hardly ever notice it. But should I ever have to deal with a fire, it's there to help me out.
