So, can I buy a second copy of a clan hero by redeeming a gift code? Anybody know/done it?

not sure about that specifically, but if the code is good you can have it.

No restrictions on how many heros or copies of heros you can own.

Yeah, I have three dupe heroes, but it shows "owned" and I wonder if it'll work if I go through gift store.

You can have more then one hero mech in general...

I had two Grid Irons as many of us did when PGI gifted us that one. Give it a try and it it doesnt work tell PGI you messed up and meant to use a different code....

Yea, but the GI is out for MC.. I could swear i saw something about only owning one with other packs and such. I asked about omni arms for example, and people said it sucked because they couldn't even buy a second hero because they weren't even out yet. And other stuff about if you owned half a pack, and bought another you only got what you were missing or something?

I don't buy much before it is out as MC anyway.. but i swear people have talked about this.

From what I can gather, you can only buy 1 of the hero mechs from the store itself and it'll show you as "owned" afterwards.

Now here's the thing, I bought some MC during the "sweet deals" promo and got the Cinder (adder) Hero from it.
The store is still showing me the option to buy the Cinder. (screenshot bellow)

Now does this apply to gift codes.... I'm tempted to say yes as well. Store seems to register "owned" if you got it from the store.
But I could be wrong.

I emailed support. Sounds like it won't work just in and of itself (wonder about Kira's situation now), but they can do a little jiggery-pokery and make it happen.
