Mine since a Clansmen.

Something along the lines of.....

Quote

For Clans we realized that with a time jump there is a shift in the political alignments of Clans and also creation of New Clans with this in mind we will be adding in atleast 2 new clans for players to align with. The choices of who, follows....

*
Nova Cat preorder, with Clan Nova Cat Camo & Decal pre order bonus.
Clan Nova Cat created as a fation
Mad Cat Mk II preorder, with Clan Diamond Shark Camo & Decal pre order bonus
Clan Diamond Shark created as a faction.
*

I would be extremely happy with an announcement like this for part of the whole March announcements. What else would we love to see in March post?

Me?

We've decided to add immersive effects such as cockpit sway, recoil for larger auto cannons, HUD flickering when hit by PPC's or by high heat. We've also decided to add proper heat effects starting at 75% heat, meaning slower movement, worse aim and risk of ammunition explosions.

But in all seriousness, I would be happy with a well thought out approach to things like IS UAC/s, RAC/s and HGR's....

I would be all for the extra heat penalties, all but the ammunition explosion part. Just to RNG imo (like the whole head insta pop from over heating just a smidgen while in over ride). I would be for though the others, as it might help mitigate the whole meta build idea built around the idea of alpha as many times as possible and squeeze back to cover as you red line. Heat control should not mean be able to keep your mechs heat in the red, red should be bad to be in for an extended period of time. The idea of being more sluggish, lose of HUD ect would be enough penalties for that imo.

As only a casual MW/BT fan. I don't have any of the nostalgia as some of the older soldiery here, so I don't really have a mech I'm dead set on seeing. I wouldn't mind seeing the Sunder, but I don't think it'll be good especially saddled with an IS XL. I'm more interested in new weapon and equipment announcements. FLEs for most of my standard engine builds.

Would be nice as well. After this they add the Arctic Wolf and add Wolf in Exile.

The alignments though now can get a bit clouded. But that's a different topic lol

It's not an RNG issue, its that explosives do not like getting too hot. As it stands right now you can be at 99% heat and your munition stores are perfectly cool, when they should start cooking off due to extreme temperatures of the mechs... I remember seeing my heat in MW3 at 1500k (2240f) at one point, that was in the yellow, your are telling me that munitions shouldn't be cooking off at those temperatures?

Having a risk of ammo explosions would actually make C.A.S.E. useful in MWO, as it stands it's a wasted crit slot and .5t for IS mechs.

Seriously, that's all I REALLY want. Now, I am crossing my fingers for the Mad Cat MK II, most of the Clan Weaponry up to 3068, including HAG's, and IK, but they're all secondary items.

1: Seperation of Clan Wolf between crusader and warden
2: Clan Wolf in Exile helping the IS fight off the clans with clan tech.
3:Mad Cat MkII-IV, Incubus, Owens, and the legendary Jazz Hand Trio (Phawk, Shawk, and Griffin IIC)
4: Nice post nuclear bombed urban map, and shipyard map
5:New guns to put on my mechs.

Don't much care about new tech or mechs.

My dream announcement/patchnotes:

"We've decided to scrap FP and make CW as it was originally advertised. Without further ado, here is the link to the patch. Also, inverse kinematic is instituted as part of this patch as well as the new Solaris mode...and yes Duncan Fisher will be giving some commentary. We've also replaced the voice actor for Angry Clanner and Passive Aggressive IS Guy with R. Lee Ermey for both. Finally, Russ would like to express his personal note of thanks to all players and customers for their seemingly infinite patience over the years and for putting up with his twitter nonsense, the various insults and disdain he has leveled at the community, the nerver ending beta of the last four years, and the hamfisted mechanics changes that were introduced without testing or proper vetting. On behalf of Russ and all of us at PGI we promise to do better, to be more engaging, to try and interface with you more so that you have an understanding of our goals and vison for this product in the hopes that we can make it better, together as we go forward. Thank you for playing. Thank you for your patronage. Now enjoy the patch and let us know if you have any problems or have suggestions in the patch commentary section of the forums...which we will now be regularly visiting and staffing!

Mk. II -- Okay, would be better at 85t and an Omni
Mk. III -- No real issues, other than should be an Omni
Mk. IV -- WTF, no seriously WTF?!?! Why, why, WHY do you think it's a good idea to put a cXXL into the Timber Wolf?!?!

I wouldn't get hopes up to much for March though, they are probably not priority considering March should drop the new mechs. Old mechs just with new tech don't cut it enough I feel. In time, definitely they will make it. I don't think we will see any more IIC mechs for a few months atleast imo based off what they are aiming for.

Well one at this point I just want pilot deathtraps for a mech.
Two the challenege of not losing a side torso, let alone not overheat would be a fun enough challenge for me to play with, also the arms are enough to protect the St's for a while if you don't equip and large missile rack.
Three I want to see how they would model the mech tbh.
And finally it's part f the Timberwolf bloodline, for me a guy who have every Timberwolf in the game and all them master exept the Warrant this is a must have on my list.

Edit: Also a 85tonner with locked JJ's Ferro and endo, that spelling out huge problems like the Timberwolf-S config, not enough space to use even with alot of weight savings equppied.

Patch notes said:

Whilst we have been primarily focused on balancing IS vs Clan tech we have recognised the need to balance both IS and Clan tech within their own tech base. As such we will be making the following changes to our quick-play server matchmakers:

US Servers - Clan only, the matchmaker will not attempt to place IS 'mechs into matches.
European Servers - IS only, the matchmaker will not attempt to place clan 'mechs into matches.
Oceanic Server - Unchanged, the matchmaker will function as per normal (placing both IS and Clan 'mechs in matches).

It is recommend that players enable at least two servers at all time to facilitate drops, failure to do so may leave a player permanently waiting for the matchmaker to find them a match if they attempt to drop in the wrong 'mech.

Let them fight.
