I noticed the quirks on the CDA-3C mention an IS ER-PPC specifically. Mixed tech incoming really soon?

Inner Sphere has had ERPPCs for ages now. They're just rarely used because they have a terrible heat-to-damage ratio.

I am well aware of that since I am actually using one in my Cicada. I was referring to the fact, that the quirk is limited to _IS_ ER-PPCs specifically [contrary to other mechs, where only ER-PPC is stated - without the IS]. I have not seen this distinction made anywhere else earlier.

It is also mentioned in the Awesome 8Q's quirks, which gets a general PPC Heat reduction, but only an IS PPC velocity buff for example.

Kudos for clickbait topic name, but hardly happening anytime soon, because it would allow Clans to carry IS single shell AC, which would cause massive butthurt for the IS and thus the PGI stuff because they once confessed they are IS fans. This might change in the future, because, say, in TRO 3145 and XTRO Republic 3 there are Clan Wolf omnimechs, http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Wulfen and http://www.sarna.net...ker respectively, that are equipped with IS tech, but right now it seems very unlikely.
