Visually? Bog, during rain or heavy fog.

Playwise, I seem to realyl do my best work on Canyon Network, followed by Trampoline and HPG.

I loathe the remade Frozen City and Forest Colony Maps most of all.

Tourmaline. Pretty balanced and allows a variety of styles, while having no stupid visibility issues. Canyon a close second.

THE OLD TERRA THERMA MAP.

There is so much cover, so much ranging terrain, and a lot of space.
Most maps allows for a specialized array of viable tactics. Terra Therma allows most of them.
It forces you to analyze the information feed over the shared locks the most, with the large availability of viable battlesites. Rank and file deathballs don't exist. You can set up the game for a myriad assortment of strategies; you can do teamplay, or you can fade far into the protection of Terra Therma mountain ranges to play solo.

And that is before you multiply these options with variations in builds.

HPG is best map for arena feel. other clear view maps are best like canyon, polar Grim Plexus and mining. any day/night except polar are horrible and Fog bog is breddy stupid after the redesign. favorite is HPG though

tourmaline

I also really like alpine despite it's flaws.

River city and crimson for city brawling.. If people would stop fighting at the citadel and the deck.. :(

As long as it's not Polar in general or Alpine on Domination, I'm happy.

alpine is slightly better now that it is not king of the hill most times. the fluidity of the lower snow dune battles is great, domination as noted above however does need work

Canyon and Mining: Both are extremely well-designed in allowing most builds to perform well, due to a mix of tight and open areas, and lots of verticality allows for jump jets to improve movement across the map.

Tourmaline: While it doesn't flow as well the the two above, Tourmaline's design allows teams to choose different paths to engage the enemy from.

Honorable mention is new Forest Colony: I find it's a hugely under-rated map that gives a large amount of paths to get around the map with. Unfortunately PUG matches lead to both teams always going for a stale-mate location EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

forgot about tourmaline. great map, the heat imo is barely felt. i am a sucker for any map without fog "effects" or night day. with exception of polar. nighttime on polar is awesome.
